Sean Connery
Sir Thomas Connery (25 August 1930 – 31 October 2020), best-known as Sean Connery, was a Scottish actor. He was the first actor to portray fictional British secret agent James Bond on film. Connery began acting in smaller theatre and television productions until his breakout role as Bond. His achievements in film were recognized with an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards, and three Golden Globes. Connery was knighted in the 2000 New Year Honors for services to film drama.
