Anne Jacqueline Hathaway, best known as Anne Hathaway is an American film and theater actress born on November 12, 1982. She is the recipient of many awards, including an Academy Award, a Primetime Emmy Award, and a Golden Globe Award. She made her acting debut in the short-lived television drama series Get Real (1999–2000) before starring in her breakthrough role of Mia Thermopolis in the successful Disney comedy The Princess Diaries (2001).
